Class of 2026 Saltus Graduate, Isai Gibbons, was recently signed with the St. Mary University Huskies.
A 5’9” winger / full back from Bermuda, Isai Gibbons joins the Huskies out of Saltus Grammar School and St. George’s Colts.
Gibbons recently represented Bermuda at the 2026 CONCACAF Under 20 Championship qualifying tournament, and at the Under 17 World Cup qualifiers in 2025.
Gibbons plays club for the St. George’s Colts in the Bermuda Men’s Premier Division, the highest level of football in Bermuda, who recently were defeated in the Semi-Final of the F.A Challenge Cup.
Gibbons previously represented FC Bascome at the Under 13 to Under 18 levels, helping lead his team to a league championship in 2024-25. He was nominated as Bermuda’s Young Player of the Year in both 2026 and 2025, and also competed in the 2026 Bermuda Under 18 All-Star game.
Gibbons is described as a versatile, passionate and calculated team player who can adapt his play and position as the game develops.
“I am very excited to commit to Saint Mary’s to play soccer, and I believe that I can bring something special to the team,” says Gibbons, whose father graduated from Saint Mary’s in 2006. “I look forward to getting on the pitch, settling into a new environment and building a relationship with my new teammates.”
Gibbons will be studying a Bachelor of Commerce at Saint Mary’s, with plans to major in Management.
