Time Machine Targets St David’s Head after Day Three

IslandStats.com
The frontrunners aboard Time Machine have put one hand on the silverware after staging a spectacular blue-water breakaway on day three of the 2026 Annapolis to Bermuda Ocean Race.

While their podium rivals find themselves locked in an intensive, high-seas stalemate, the blistering pace-setters have turned the 753-mile marathon into a definitive game of catch-me-if-you-can.

According to the latest tracking data, Time Machine has now swallowed up an immense 732 nautical miles of Atlantic real estate. The crew has successfully broken the psychological back of the fleet, leaving them with just 51 volatile miles left to navigate before crossing the finish line at St David’s Light.

Behind the runaway leaders, the chasing pack is enduring a tense tactical battle as shifting ocean currents threaten to stall their momentum.

Aurora remains their closest challenger in second place, having logged 695 nautical miles, though they now sit a substantial 80 miles adrift of Bermuda's shores. They hold a fragile 20-mile buffer over Tenacious, who occupies third after covering 670 miles (104 miles to finish).

Rounding out the top five, Harmony is leading a fierce battle for fourth gear, having traveled 693 nautical miles with 112 miles remaining. They are keeping a watchful eye on Defiance, who sits just three miles back on 657 nautical miles logged, leaving them with 126 miles of open ocean left to conquer.

With weather windows shifting as the fleet nears the island, the chasing yachts face a critical 24 hours if they are to engineer a dramatic counter-attack before Time Machine disappears over the horizon.
