Robin Hood produced an attacking masterclass at Bernard Park, hitting seven goals past a shell-shocked North Village Rams in a breathless Bermuda Football Association Under-23 Division encounter.
The match was effectively decided during a blistering first-half display from Robin Hood, who caught their opponents cold to race into a four-goal lead before the referee blew for the interval.
It took just three minutes for Nayan Grant to open the scoring, capitalizing on slack defending to put Robin Hood ahead. The Rams barely had time to recover before Ayden Gardner doubled the advantage three minutes later with a clinical finish.
Gardner was in irresistible form and struck again in the 13th minute to put Robin Hood three goals up, leaving the North Village coaching staff searching for answers. The first-half misery was compounded for the Rams just before the break when Aiden Peets found the net in the 42nd minute to cap off a completely dominant opening period.
The second half brought more of the same as Robin Hood refused to take their foot off the gas. Amari Smith extended the lead to five in the 58th minute as the Rams continued to struggle with the pace of the Hood attack.
North Village did manage to salvage some pride in the 71st minute when Denhem Minors pulled a goal back, but any hopes of a miraculous comeback were instantly snuffed out four years later when Zhani Burgess restored the five-goal cushion for Robin Hood.
A chaotic final ten minutes saw both teams trade goals in a frantic finish to the contest. Jakeem Jennings scored a second for North Village in the 81st minute, and the Rams added a third in stoppage time when Z'dao Dill calmly converted a penalty.
However, Robin Hood had the final say of the afternoon. Straight from the restart, Cody Robinson struck deep into injury time to seal a comprehensive victory and ensure his side walked away with all three points from a memorable ten-goal spectacle.
