The Canada Legends have been crowned the 2026 USA Legends Over 60 International Quad Series champions after a composed six-wicket victory over Andre Manders and the Rest of the World XI.
In a high-stakes final at the Wright Cricket Field in Woodley Park, the Canadian side produced a clinical all-round performance to secure the title. Having won the toss and elected to bowl, the Canada Legends' decision was immediately justified by a disciplined opening spell that stifled the Rest of the World's top order.
The international select side eventually posted a total of 198 from their allotted 42 overs, anchored by a resilient unbeaten 79 from Aadil Chagla. Bermudian veteran Andre Manders looked set to play a major supporting role, contributing a steady 26 before his innings was cut short by a sharp run-out. Rohit Roy proved to be the most potent weapon in the Canadian bowling arsenal, finishing with remarkably economical figures of one for 12 from his six overs.
The run chase was handled with veteran poise by the Canadian batsmen, who reached their target of 199 with four wickets down and overs to spare. Steve Nobrega led the charge with a match-winning 73, successfully navigating a testing middle period where the Rest of the World threatened a breakthrough.
Chetan Shah was the standout performer with the ball for the Rest of the World, claiming two for 30 from a full nine-over quota. Manders, returning to the attack to stem the flow of runs, finished with figures of none for 31 from his four overs. Despite the late pressure, the Canada Legends remained unfazed, closing out the victory to lift the Quad Series trophy and cement their status as the premier over-60s side in the region.
