The Bermudian interest in the fixture was centered on all-rounder Katherine Bean-Rosario, who was omitted from the starting eleven for this opening 50-over contest.

Shawnisha Hector was the standout performer for the Leewards, ripping through the Barbados top order with a clinical display of pace bowling.
