Bascome's Blast Explode for Dominant Victory

IslandStats.com
Head Coach David Bascome guided his Baltimore Blast team to a commanding performance, securing an 11-3 victory over the Kansas City Comets in a match where the Blast's offense proved overwhelming.

The Baltimore Blast wasted little time in asserting their dominance. The opening goal of the game arrived at the 3:21 mark when Juan Pereira found the net, assisted by Chad Poarch, putting the Blast up 1-0. Pereira secured a second goal late in the quarter, assisted by Jonatas Melo, to end the first period with the Blast holding a 2-0 lead.

The Blast extended their lead early in the second quarter (4:30) when Jamie Thomas scored a short-handed goal, assisted by Julian Rodriguez, making it 3-0. The Kansas City Comets finally responded at the 11:51 mark with a goal from Lesia Thetsane, assisted by Christian Anderaos, cutting the deficit to 3-1. However, the Blast immediately hit back with two quick goals: Wellington Bramusse scored (assisted by Chad Poarch) at 13:58, followed just 16 seconds later by a third goal from Juan Pereira, giving the Baltimore Blast a decisive 5-1 lead heading into halftime.

The third quarter saw the Blast truly break the game open with a four-goal surge. Chad Poarch scored early (1:17), assisted by Matheus Silva, and was quickly followed by Alejandro Chavez (3:28), assisted by Bruno Henrique, pushing the score to 7-1. The Comets found a second goal at 5:57 through Dominic Francis, assisted by Stefan Mijatovic. But the Blast immediately extinguished any hope of a comeback with two rapid-fire goals from Jonatas Melo (6:08), assisted by Juan Pereira, and Jamie Thomas (6:36), making the score 9-2.

The Blast added two more goals early in the final quarter to seal the massive victory. Chad Poarch scored his second goal of the night at 2:28, assisted by Alejandro Chavez, followed by Wellington Bramusse (2:51), assisted by Oumar Sylla, stretching the lead to 11-2. The Comets managed to pull one final goal back at 6:12 from Stefan Mijatovic, assisted by Zach Reget, bringing the final score to 11-3 in favour of Head Coach David Bascome’s Baltimore Blast.
