Howard University Women's Swimming & Diving secured multiple event victories in a competitive dual meet against American University at Burr Natatorium, with Bermudian swimmer Myeisha Sharrieff delivering a standout performance.
Sharrieff provided a crucial contribution for the Bison, earning a personal season best and helping a relay quartet narrowly miss a win.
In the 100 Yard Backstroke, Sharrieff demonstrated superb form to claim second place. She touched the wall with a time of 57.51 seconds, a significant achievement as she cut more than a second off her previous season mark of 58.89.
Sharrieff combined with her teammates Brooke Whitt, Samyra Benoit, and Gabrielle Vickles in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. The quartet clocked a swift time of 1:46.52, earning a valiant second place and only narrowly missing the top spot by less than half a second in a thrilling sprint finish.
