The St. Vincent & Grenadines Football Federation (SVGFF) recently hosted a crucial follow-up session of the Concacaf Executive Mentorship Program (EMP), with the initiative receiving direct support from the Bermuda Football Association (BFA).
The session was designed to reinforce ongoing work in governance, administration, and leadership development within the SVGFF, aligning with Concacaf's overarching One Concacaf vision for regional development.

Leading the vital workshop was Concacaf Director of Member Services, Howard McIntosh, alongside David Sabir, the General Secretary of the Bermuda Football Association. Sabir, who is also a Concacaf Instructor with a wealth of experience in football administration, provided hands-on guidance to the SVGFF Executive Committee.

The Executive Mentorship Program is a core initiative launched by Concacaf President Victor Montagliani and forms an integral part of the Confederation's commitment to elevating football across its 41 Member Associations. The focus remains squarely on strengthening the "off-field" aspects of the game.

CONCACAF President Montagliani underlined the program's importance, stating:

“The Executive Mentorship Program is designed to provide the Executive Committees of the 41 Concacaf Member Associations with the necessary framework to improve the administration of the game at all levels. Effective leadership and good governance must be our daily priority, as we make the right long-term decisions to grow football across our region.”

The commitment of experienced figures like David Sabir in assisting other regional federations highlights Bermuda’s growing role in supporting the continent’s long-term strategy for football sustainability and development.
