Bermudian sailor Rockal Evans has added another international title to his resume, playing an instrumental role in the crew aboard Doolali as they clinched victory in Series 5 of the Thailand Platu Sailing Championships.
Evans was sailing onboard the Platu-class boat skippered by Colin Simonds, which showcased remarkable consistency and boat speed over three days of highly competitive racing.

The championship involved thirteen intense races on the water, and the winning crew demonstrated phenomenal consistency. The team, which included Evans, skipper Colin Simonds, Carolin Simonds, Senan Bottomley, and Sergy, finished outside the top three only once across the entire regatta.

Their exceptional scorecard was built on multiple front-running results:

Race Wins: The team secured four first-place finishes.
Second Place: They finished as runner-up on four separate occasions.

The level of consistency across the 13-race series proved insurmountable for their rivals, ensuring they claimed the top spot in the overall standings of Series 5.

The latest triumph highlights Evans's success on the international sailing circuit, where he often competes in various keelboat classes alongside some of the world's most accomplished sailors.
