Taylor White was among four different individual winners for the Bentley women's swimming & diving team as they opened their season with a tri-meet at Wheaton, securing a win but falling to Wellesley College.
Bentley University defeated Wheaton College (Ma) 167-118, but were narrowly defeated by Wellesley College 169.50-116.50 in the tightly contested duals.
Bermudian swimmer Taylor White delivered an outstanding individual performance to lead the team's efforts. She secured a major win in the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle, stopping the clock with an impressive time of 5:21.67.
White maintained her strong form in the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke, finishing in a competitive second place after posting a time of 1:01.23.
She also led off the Bentley University Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay 'A' team, helping them to a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:53.89.
The strong individual performances against solid opposition provide Bentley with a promising platform as they move forward with their season schedule.
