Bermudian middle-distance runner Dage Minors is set to be enshrined in the Franklin Pierce University Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the 2025 induction class.
Minors, a record-setting figure for the Ravens, is one of the most decorated student-athletes in the New Hampshire university’s history, having competed from 2013-18 before returning to the institution as an assistant coach.
The runner's list of collegiate honours is extensive: Six-time All-American and a nine-time NCAA Championship qualifier. The only athlete at Franklin Pierce to be named the NCAA East Region Indoor and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year in the same season. A staggering 21-time Northeast 10 Champion and a three-time USTFCCCA East Region Track Athlete of the Year. He still holds seven programme records across middle distances and relays.
The former Walter Peterson Male Student-Athlete of the Year has also enjoyed a distinguished international career representing Bermuda, highlighted by a bronze medal at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games, a 6th-place finish in the 800m at the Pan-American Games, and competing at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Minors is also the national record holder for Bermuda in the indoor 1000m and the outdoor mile, a distance he famously ran in under four minutes. The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place in November 2025.
