Sailors Continue to Impress at Comet Internationals

Bermuda's sailors have continued their strong showing at the 2025 Comet Internationals in Oceanport, New Jersey, with Rudy Bailey maintaining his podium position and the team of Maxwell Curtis and Wesley Tucker climbing the leaderboard after Day Two.
With only two races sailed on the day, Rudy Bailey and his crew Tyler Hartswell continued his impressive consistency, securing back-to-back second-place finishes. His solid performance leaves him with a total of 8 net points, placing him just three points behind the fleet leader, Jay Rhame, heading into the final day of racing.
Maxwell Curtis and his crew Wesley Tucker also put in a solid day of sailing. The pair finished fourth in the first race before claiming fifth in the second and final race of the day. Their consistent performance moved them up to fourth place overall with a total of 16 net points.
The team of Gregory Wade and his crew Geno Smith faced a more challenging day, finishing 20th in the 20-boat fleet with 71 points. They will be looking to improve their results as the regatta concludes.
