Bermuda's Under-19 cricket team has ended its ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup Americas World Cup Qualifier campaign on a high note, securing a decisive victory over Argentina thanks to a superb batting performance and a hat-trick from bowler Luke Horan.
In a rain-affected match reduced to 31 overs, Bermuda was sent to bat after losing the toss. They put up a respectable total of 144 for 8, largely thanks to a crucial 73-run fifth-wicket partnership between Sa-Qui Robinson, who was the top scorer with 42, and captain Zeri Tomlinson, who contributed 35. Valentin Bur was the pick of the Argentine bowlers, with two wickets for 20 runs.
In reply, Argentina's innings was dismantled by a fired-up Bermudian bowling attack. They were bowled out for just 66 runs. Argentina's top scorer was Vicente Romanin with 35, but the day belonged to Luke Horan. The Bermudian bowler delivered an exceptional performance, claiming four wickets for just 14 runs, a spell that included a magnificent hat-trick.
