Bermudian cyclist Kaden Hopkins has concluded a memorable performance at the 47th edition of the Tour de Marie-Galante, crossing the line fourth in the final stage and securing a solid 20th place in the overall general classification.
The demanding 139.490-kilometer final stage saw 66 riders in the peloton battling for supremacy. Hopkins demonstrated his strength and tactical prowess, finishing in a time of 3 hours, 24 minutes, and 8 seconds, just 2 minutes and 1 second behind the stage winner, Julien Chane Foc.
While missing out on a podium spot on the final day, Hopkins' consistent efforts throughout the multi-stage race paid dividends. He wrapped up the Tour de Marie-Galante in 20th position overall, with a combined time of 17 hours, 53 minutes, and 41 seconds. This placed him 25 minutes and 43 seconds adrift of the overall winner, Benjamin Le Ny.
