It proved to be a mixed day for the 2011 LB Football Academy Girls team, who faced a double-header in the knockout rounds. They started strongly, defeating Gondomar SC 1-0 thanks to a lone goal from Nadia Medeiros, demonstrating their defensive solidity and ability to grind out a result.
