The Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League season continued at Bernard’s Park, featuring a pair of compelling matches exclusively from the Co-ed Division.
In the opener, the Front Street Mafia secured a comfortable 15-6 victory over RenRe. The Front Street Mafia's win was largely orchestrated by their Best Attacker, Charlie Evans, who netted an impressive 10 goals. Jasmine Mapp added 4 goals, and Meg Sherwin scored once. Jesse Marshall was named their Best Defender, with Kyle Godfrey earning the MVP award. RenRe's efforts were led by Best Attacker Aaron Woods with 5 goals, and Tai Cedenio contributing the other. David Ocen was their Best Defender, and Brighton Swan took the MVP honours for his team.
The second match of the evening saw the Goal Diggers get the better of BHB, securing a 28-19 win. The Goal Diggers' Best Attacker, Coriah Simmons, was in prolific form, scoring 23 goals. Kianté Lightbourne added 5 goals to their tally. Rakeem Deshields was named their Best Defender, and Asanté Chapman earned the team's MVP award. For BHB, Sheldon Bahadosingh scored 9 goals, Charlene Bogle added 7, and MVP Demiqua Daniels contributed 3. Donnisha Gardner was their Best Attacker, and Tina Wall their Best Defender.
