His race began with the swim segment, where Pilgrim posted a time of 19 minutes and 22 seconds (19:22). He then transitioned to the bike course, completing it in 56 minutes and 28 seconds (56:28). Pilgrim concluded his race with the run segment, recording a time of 41 minutes and 39 seconds (41:39).
Competing in the Americas Triathlon Championships provides valuable experience for Pilgrim against some of the top young triathletes from across the continent. His 13th-place finish demonstrates his continued progress in the sport, and he will undoubtedly be looking to build on this performance in future events.
