Christian Ebbin and his Tulane University teammates concluded the 2025 ICSA Team Race National Championships on the Providence River in eighth place overall, after a challenging final day of competition.
Having shown significant improvement on day two, climbing to eighth with a record of seven wins and six defeats, Ebbin and his Tulane crew were hoping to carry that momentum into the final races. However, the final day did not unfold as they would have wished.
Tulane were unable to add to their win tally on the final day, unfortunately suffering defeats in all seven of their races. They were overcome by strong teams from Harvard University, Roger Williams University, Yale University, Dartmouth College, Brown University (the hosts), Stanford University, and Boston College.
Despite the disappointing end to the championships, Tulane's overall eighth-place finish represents a commendable effort in a highly competitive national field. The team will no doubt reflect on their performance and look to build on the positives from the earlier stages of the event.
