United States of America Win by 10 Wickets

Bermuda 114/7 United States of America 115/0

Bermuda's hopes of lifting the 2025 North American Cricket Cup were dashed in the semi-finals as the United States of America delivered a dominant performance to secure a comfortable 10-wicket victory at the Jimmy Powell Cricket Oval.

Having won the toss, Bermuda elected to bat first but struggled to build momentum against a disciplined USA bowling attack. Opener Marcus Scotland anchored the innings, battling through to score a resilient 57 not out off 57 balls, including three boundaries. Fellow opener Alex Dore provided a brief spark, hitting 14 runs off just eight balls with a four and a six, contributing to an opening stand of 27 in just 2.3 overs. However, the USA bowlers, led by Milind Kumar who claimed two wickets for just six runs in his two overs, restricted Bermuda to a total of 114 for 7 in their allotted overs.

In reply, the United States of America made light work of the chase. Their opening pair of Saiteja Mukkamalia and Shayan Jahangir proved unstoppable, reaching the target without losing a wicket in just 14.2 overs. Mukkamalia led the way with an impressive unbeaten 72, while Jahangir provided solid support with 35 not out. Despite their best efforts, the Bermuda bowlers, with Derrick Brangman the most economical conceding just 23 runs in his four overs, were unable to make a breakthrough.

The comprehensive 10-wicket victory sees the United States of America advance to the final, while Bermuda will reflect on a tournament that saw them reach the semi-finals but ultimately fall short against a strong American side.
