The Hyundai Archery World Cup continued its 19th season with the first of four stages at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park, attracting top archers from across the globe. Bermuda is being represented by Camerin Pickering and Jaydon Roberts at this high-profile event.
Both Pickering and Roberts competed in the first round of the Men's Recurve Division, facing challenging matches against strong international competitors.
Pickering's match saw him face Dhiraj Bommadevara from India. Pickering was defeated 6-0.
Roberts competed against Germany's Florian Unruh and was defeated 6-2.
Assistant coach Trina Roberts said, “Our team leaves this event feeling good about performances. With each event our athletes gain knowledge and continue to become more competitive shooting against the World’s Best/Olympians.”
