Paget Lions Rise in Premier Division
Paget Lions 4 Young Men Social Club 1
Paget Lions secured a decisive 4-1 victory over Young Men Social Club at the Devonshire Recreation Club field. Daniel Cook scored twice for Paget Lions, with Diaje Hart, the Premier Division's leading goalscorer, also finding the net.
Omari Tucker added the fourth. Pierre Smith scored a consolation goal for Young Men Social Club.
This victory propelled Paget Lions up to fourth place in the Premier Division standings, while Young Men Social Club remained in eighth place.
Bermudians in UK Football
Razhir Smith-Jones, Reese Jones Jr., Malachi Henry, and Coleridge Fubler featured in Binfield's 1-0 defeat to Rayners Lane FC in Isthmian League action. Rayners Lane FC scored a late 88th-minute goal to win.
Reggie Lambe played for Needham Market in their 3-2 defeat to Curzon Ashton in a Vanarama National League North battle at the Ecologic Stadium.
Mia Fishel Returns to USWNT
United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) head coach Emma Hayes announced her roster for two high-profile matches against Brazil in April. Hayes named Chelsea FC striker Mia Fishel as a training player for the camp.
Fishel returns to the USWNT environment for the first time since last February at the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup, where she suffered an ACL tear. She has recently returned to the active roster for Chelsea FC. Fishel has three caps and one goal for the USWNT.
