Daley Earns Double Medal Haul at Championships

Elijah Daley made a splash at the Coupe du Québec Senior Swimming Championships, held at the PEPS of Laval University, securing two medals on the first day of competition.

Daley demonstrated his versatility and skill across multiple events, showcasing his talent against a strong field of competitors.

Daley's first success came in the Men's 200m Individual Medley. He advanced to the A Final after finishing 9th in the preliminaries with a time of 2:12.08. In the A Final, Daley stepped up his performance, claiming the Bronze Medal with a time of 2:09.49. This medal marked a strong start to his championships.

Daley continued his impressive form in the Men's 200m Butterfly. He qualified for the A Final after finishing 6th in the preliminaries with a time of 2:08.81. In the A Final, Daley delivered another excellent performance, securing the Silver Medal with a second-place finish and a time of 2:06.42. This medal further highlighted his strength in the butterfly discipline.

Daley also competed in the Men's 100m Butterfly. He finished 12th in the preliminaries with a time of 58.40 and competed in the C Final. In the Men's 100m Butterfly C Final, Daley swam to victory, clocking a winning time of 56.37 and finishing 21st overall in the event.
