Bermuda's Junior Tennis team bounced back with a 2 - 1 victory over Jamaica in the 9-16 play-off match at the BJKCJ DCJ North/Central America & Caribbean Pre-Qualifying Junior Davis Cup in Guatemala City.
Jadon Spriggs got Bermuda off to a strong start, defeating Joshua Spencer in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, in the opening singles match.
Tobiah Goodchild then took to the court with the opportunity to clinch the tie for Bermuda. He faced a tough challenge from Dylan Marks but ultimately prevailed in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3, securing the victory for Bermuda.
Despite the tie being decided, Goodchild and Spriggs returned to the court for the doubles match, facing the Jamaican duo of Malique Adlam and Joshua Spencer. The Jamaican pair prevented a clean sweep for Bermuda, winning the match in straight sets, 6-2, 7-5.
