Race Day 5 of the Bermuda Motocross Association season at the Southside Motocross Track saw impressive performances from several riders, but unfortunately, the day was cut short due to an incident requiring the St. John Ambulance to leave the venue. As a result, only the PeeWee class was able to complete all three scheduled motos.
Despite the shortened race day, A'jahni Foggo, Nyla Goodchild, and Cassidy Spencer-Furbert delivered dominant displays, each securing two victories in their respective classes. Foggo was in top form in the 85cc Class, leaving his rivals trailing in his wake. Goodchild mirrored this success in the 85cc Ladies Class, showcasing her skill and speed on the track. Spencer-Furbert completed the trio of dominant riders, claiming all three wins in the 50cc Class.
In the Novice Class, Aiden Simmons took victory in the only race held. Ace Moniz impressed in his class, securing two wins and a third-place finish to claim the overall honours. Kody Paul was equally dominant in the 65cc Class, winning both of his races.
Aaron Cannonier took the chequered flag in the Over 30 Class race, while Zico Majors won the only race in the Expert Class.
The Bermuda Motocross Association will be hoping for a safe and complete Race Day 6 after this unfortunate interruption to the season.
