Tigers and Lady Rams Roar Back into Netball Action

The Bermuda Netball Association's Senior Winter League returned to action at Bernard's Park with a thrilling double-header. The day saw dominant performances from the Tigers and the North Village Lady Rams.

The Tigers, coached by Tony Mouchette, roared to a convincing 41-16 victory over the Phoenix Heat.

Jahkenya Trott led the charge for the Tigers with an impressive 31 goals, supported by Jahtuere Trott's 10 goals. Micah Pond was named the team's Best Attacker, while Khianda Pearman-Watson earned the Best Defender and MVP awards for her outstanding performance.

For the Phoenix Heat, Kammie Mills, their Best Attacker, scored eight goals, Keizhari Knight added seven, and Sydney Santos contributed one. Imani Smith was their Best Defender, and Stacia Ming was named MVP.

The second match of the day saw the North Village Lady Rams dismantle Hamilton Parish with a resounding 73-9 win.

MVP Apryl Jackson spearheaded the Lady Rams' attack with a game-high 25 goals. Zhanae Simmons added 22 goals, Coriah Simmons scored 21, and Jada Richards chipped in with five. Camryn Swan was named the team's Best Attacker, and Mali Smith was the Best Defender.

Hamilton Parish's goals were shared between Alexi Pascall and Keisiah Jackson, who each scored four, and Shayna Simmons, who scored one. Kayla Burgess was their Best Attacker, and Alexi Pascall was named Best Defender. The results highlight the competitive nature of the league and set the stage for an exciting remainder of the season.
