The Premier Division relegation picture became a little clearer after Wolves, currently bottom of the league, suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat against St. George's Colts. Wolves were desperate for a win to boost their survival hopes, but the late goal dashed their chances.
The victory keeps St. George's Colts in fifth place, moving them onto 23 points from 14 matches. They sit five points behind league leaders North Village Rams. The title race remains tight, with Dandy Town Hornets in second place on 26 points from 14 games, and defending champions PHC Zebras in third with 24 points from 14 games, ahead of Devonshire Colts on goal difference.
For Wolves, the defeat leaves them languishing at the bottom of the table with just 8 points from 14 matches.
