As tactician aboard "Soozal," Evans played a crucial role in the yacht's success, guiding the team to victory in all three races of the ORC Fleet Division 1.
The regatta began with a Medium Inshore Passage race, which "Soozal" completed in 2 hours, 49 minutes, and 57 seconds. They followed this with two consecutive Short Inshore Passage races, crossing the finish line in 59 minutes and 47 seconds for the first and 59 minutes and 47 seconds for the second.
Evans' tactical expertise clearly proved invaluable, contributing to "Soozal"'s dominant performance and securing a hat-trick of wins.
