The 2025 Superkarts! USA Winter Series concluded its eighth season at the Orlando Kart Center with Rounds Three and Four. After a record-breaking turnout for the nine competing categories at the series debut last month, the final two rounds were held at the Orlando, Florida facility, with 285 pre-registered drivers vying for the 2025 SKUSA Winter Series championships.
The Master Shifter presented by Velocity Racing by Sodi USA category featured three drivers for the series finale. Defending champion and two-time race winner Scott Barnes (Maranello USA) returned to action, facing competition from Tyler Guilbeault (DRT / DR Kart) and Rene Martinelli (RRC / TB Kart).
Barnes set the pace in Qualifying for Round 3, posting the fastest lap time of 51.314 on his fourth lap. However, his Pre-Final race ended in a Did Not Finish (DNF). Despite this setback, Barnes bounced back in impressive fashion in the Final. He stormed through the field to claim victory, completing the 18-lap race in 15:51.169.
