A day of action in the Bermuda Football Association's Premier and First Divisions produced a range of results, with First Division leaders X-Roads delivering a dominant display and North Village Rams extending their lead at the top of the Premier Division.
FIRST DIVISION
Somerset Eagles 0 X-Road’s 8
X-Roads maintained their impressive form with a resounding 8 - 0 demolition of Somerset Eagles at the White Hill Field.
Donavan Thompson and Teiko Lowe both bagged hat-tricks, while Paul Simons and Aaron Spencer each added a goal to complete the rout.
Southampton Rangers 2 Robin Hood 4
At the Southampton Oval, Robin Hood secured a 4-2 victory over Southampton Rangers.
Goals from Cairo Tucker, Jah’Zion Taylor, and Alexander Rymon-Lipinski gave Robin Hood a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime. Dominique Hill pulled a goal back for Southampton Rangers in the 47th minute, but Cecoy Robinson restored Robin Hood's three-goal cushion in the 69th minute.
Nacori Smith scored a late consolation goal for Southampton Rangers in the 82nd minute, but it wasn't enough to prevent the defeat. The win lifts Robin Hood into third place in the standings.
PREMIER DIVISION
Paget Lions 0 St. George’s Colts 0
The match between Paget Lions and St. George’s Colts at the Southampton Oval ended in a goalless draw. The stalemate leaves St. George’s Colts in fifth place and Paget Lions in sixth.
PHC Zebras 2 Devonshire Cougars 2
PHC Zebras' hopes of closing the gap on the league leaders were dented by a 2-2 draw with Devonshire Cougars at the PHC Stadium.
An own goal and a strike from Chase Brangman gave Devonshire Cougars a 2-0 lead. Enrique Russell pulled a goal back for PHC Zebras in the 29th minute, and then levelled the score in the 74th minute, but they couldn't find a winning goal.
North Village Rams 3 Hamilton Parish 1
North Village Rams extended their lead at the top of the table to five points with a 3-1 win over Hamilton Parish at Bernard’s Park.
Jai Bean opened the scoring for the Rams in the 13th minute, but a Hamilton Parish own goal levelled the score in the 32nd minute. Jonte Smith put North Village Rams back in front in the 53rd minute, and Jalen Harvey sealed the victory with a third goal in the 83rd minute.
