Youth netball was the focus of attention at Bernard's Park, with action across several age divisions in the Bermuda Netball Association's latest round of matches.
11 & Under Division
The Storm Thunder and Phoenix Sparks faced off, with Kimora Davy named Storm Thunder's Best Attacker, Nai-Lah Burrows their Best Defender, and Gabriella Babon the team's MVP. For the Phoenix Sparks, Quin Burgess was their Best Attacker, K'Ah Seymour the Best Defender, and Solea Rivas the MVP.
14 & Under League Cup
The Phoenix Embers were crowned champions of the 14 & Under League Cup, finishing with a total of 9 points. The Storm secured second place with 6 points, while the North Village Lady Rams finished third with 3 points. The Dandy Stars unfortunately ended the competition without a point.
Three matches were played in this division. The North Village Lady Rams defeated the Dandy Stars 11-1. The Phoenix Embers then overcame the North Village Lady Rams 7-2. The final match saw the Storm defeat the Dandy Stars convincingly 22-4.
18 & Under League Cup
The 18 & Under League Cup also saw three matches contested. The Storm defeated the DC Diamonds 15-8. The Phoenix Fire then bounced back with a 20-17 victory over the Storm. The final match of the day saw the North Village Lady Rams overcome the Phoenix Fire 15-10.
