Madelyn Moore IslandStats.com Several Bermuda Swimmers delivered a commanding performance in the events at the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association (BASA) Long Course Qualifier meet held at the National Sports Center.
Jorgia White secured victory in both the Women's 15 & Over 400m and 200m freestyle races. She powered to victory in the 400m with a time of 4:54.34, demonstrating impressive endurance and pace. She continued her dominance in the 200m event, touching the wall first in 2:24.41.
In the Women's 15 & Over 50m freestyle, Madelyn Moore claimed top spot with a time of 26.92. Lila Connolly (31.62) and Sienna Spurling (32.36) finished second and third respectively.
The Men's 15 & Over 50m freestyle saw Logan Jones emerge victorious with a time of 26.49. Joseph Lau (27.95) and Zachary Johnson (28.01) rounded out the podium places.
In the Boys 13-14 200m freestyle, Noah Fulton delivered a strong performance to win in 2:23.53. Lau (2:31.15) secured another second-place finish, while Dylan Eiselt (2:33.97) took third.
This BASA Long Course Qualifier provided valuable racing opportunities for Bermuda's swimmers as they continue to prepare for upcoming competitions.
