Myeisha Sharrieff and her Howard University's Women's Swimming and Diving teammates emerged from the VMI Quad-Meet with a pair of convincing victories, despite a narrow loss to crosstown rivals American University.
The Bison showcased their strength in the pool, dominating both VMI and Saint Francis. They powered past VMI with a resounding 192-79 win and secured a solid 147-127 victory against Northeast Conference opponent Saint Francis.
Sophomore Sharrieff represented Howard in the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke, finishing in a commendable fourth place with a time of 59.90.
While the Bison fell just short against American (133-151), their performance across the meet demonstrated the team's depth and competitive spirit. This double victory sets the stage for an exciting season ahead as Howard University continues to make waves in the pool.
