Swimmer Rhys Insley and his Canisius University Men's Swimming and Diving team concluded their 2024-25 regular season with a tough matchup against rival Niagara University at the Burt Flickinger Center in downtown Buffalo.
The Canisius Golden Griffins faced a strong Niagara squad, ultimately falling 238-50 in the Battle of the Bridge rivalry clash.
Insley contributed to the team's efforts with performances in his individual events. In the Men's 100 Yard Breaststroke, he finished 10th with a time of 1:01.25. He then tackled the Men's 200 Yard Breaststroke, again securing 10th place with a time of 2:17.25.
Insley also showcased his versatility by swimming the anchor leg for the Canisius Men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay 'C' team. The team finished 7th with a time of 1:32.83.
With the regular season now concluded, Insley and his Canisius teammates will be looking ahead to the upcoming conference championships, where they will aim to build on their experiences and strive for strong performances.
