Taylor White produced a sensational performance with three individual victories, but it wasn't enough to prevent Bentley University from falling to a 154-137 defeat against Southern Connecticut at the Dana Center.
The junior swimmer showcased her versatility and dominance, claiming first place in both the 100 and 200 Yard Backstroke races, as well as the 1000 Yard Freestyle.
White's winning time in the 100 Yard Backstroke was 1:00.24.
She then set a new Meet Record in the 200 Yard Backstroke, touching the wall in an impressive 2:10.80. Her dominance continued in the 1000 Yard Freestyle, where she finished almost 14 seconds ahead of Southern Connecticut's Jasmine Uricchio in second place with a time of 10:49.39.
Despite White's heroics, Bentley couldn't overcome a strong Southern Connecticut team. However, White's triple victory highlights her exceptional talent and contribution to the Bentley squad. Her impressive performance, including a meet record, will undoubtedly serve as a source of inspiration for her teammates as the season progresses.
