Bermudian middle-distance runner Sancho Smith helped Clayton State University's Men's Track and Field team kick off their 2025 season with a strong showing at the KMS Invitational.
Smith and his teammates delivered a series of impressive performances, securing multiple top-five finishes and a host of first-place victories.
In the 800m run, Smith showcased his speed and endurance, claiming a podium finish with a time of 1:58.88. This strong performance placed him third overall in a competitive field.
Smith also contributed to the team's success in the 4x400m relay. Running the third leg, he helped Clayton State secure a 4th place finish with a time of 3:26.00.
