Harvey Helps Penn State to Convincing Victory Over Chicago

Bermudian Olympian Jack Harvey played a key role in Penn State University's dominant 211-79 victory over the University of Chicago Maroons in their first swimming and diving meet of the New Year.

Harvey, a seasoned competitor on the International stage, showcased his versatility and contributed valuable points across multiple events.

In the Men's 200 Yard Medley Relay, Harvey led off for Penn State's 'B' team, helping them secure a 4th place finish with a time of 1:28.35.

He then took on the individual events, demonstrating his strength in the backstroke. In the Men's 100 Yard Backstroke, Harvey touched the wall in 5th place with a time of 48.41 seconds. He followed this up with a strong performance in the Men's 200 Yard Backstroke, finishing 4th in a time of 1:49.52.

Harvey's contributions, alongside the impressive performances from his Penn State teammates, propelled the Nittany Lions to a resounding victory over their Chicago rivals. This dominant display sets a positive tone for the team as they continue their season.
