Bermudian sprinter Sanaa Morris delivered a strong performance at the Seahawk Shootout, held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York.
Representing Howard University, Morris competed in three events, showcasing her speed and versatility.
In the 60 meters, Morris clocked a time of 8.09 seconds, securing 5th place in Heat 4 and 28th overall.
Morris then stepped up to the 300 meters, where she demonstrated her strength over the longer distance. She powered to victory in Heat 4, crossing the line in 40.73 seconds to claim 12th place overall.
Morris also played a key role in Howard University's 4x400 meters relay team. Running the third leg for the 'B' team, she helped them secure a second-place finish with a time of 3:51.09.
Morris' performances at the Seahawk Shootout highlight her continued development as a sprinter. Her victory in the 300m heat demonstrates her potential over longer distances, while her contribution to the relay team underscores her value to the Howard University squad.
