Mixed Fortunes for Bermudian Footballers in the UK

Mia Fishel
IslandStats.com
Bermudian footballers across the UK experienced a mixed bag of results and opportunities, with one enjoying victory, while another faced setbacks. Meanwhile on the Women’s side, we have a Fishel update, and Goater prepares Aston Villa.

Djair Parfitt

Djair Parfitt and his Glentoran teammates secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Ballymena United in the BetMcLean Cup Quarter-Final, booking their place in the Semi-Finals.

Despite frigid conditions at the BetMcLean Oval, Glentoran, who are currently unbeaten in eight games, dominated proceedings. Second-half goals from Jordan Jenkins and David Fisher sealed the win.

Knory Scott

Knory Scott was an unused substitute as his Lancing FC side edged past Littlehampton Town FC 2-1 in a closely fought Sussex Senior Cup Quarter Final match at The Sportsfield.

Mia Fishel

Striker Mia Fishel continues her journey back to full fitness with Chelsea Women. She was included in the squad for their winter training camp in Portugal, where head coach Sonia Bompastor put the players through their paces ahead of the second half of the season.

Shaun Goater

Legendary Bermudian striker Shaun Goater continues his coaching role with Aston Villa Women. He has been working with the team as they prepare for their first match of 2025 against Bristol Rovers Women on January 12th at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.
