A host of Bermudian athletes have earned recognition in the latest North America, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) Indoor Track & Field Rankings.
The rankings, which highlight the top performers from the previous indoor season, feature several Bermudian names across a range of events.
Men's Track: Nairobi Smith-Mills: Secured the 23rd spot in the Men's 800m with a time of 1:53.50. Dage Minors: Showcased his middle-distance prowess, clocking the 13th fastest time in the Mile (4:07.96) and the 10th fastest in the 3000m (8:20.15).
Men's Field: Jah-Nhai Perinchief: Leapt to 8th place in the Men's Triple Jump with an impressive distance of 16.51m (54 feet, 16 inches).
Women's Track: Caitlyn Bobb: Featured prominently in the sprints, earning 24th place in the 200m (23.95) and 18th place in the 400m (53.92).
Women's Field: Sakari Famous: Cleared 1.81m (5 feet, 9 inches) in the High Jump to secure 10th place.
These rankings highlight the growing strength and depth of Bermudian athletics. With many of these athletes continuing to train and compete at a high level, the future looks bright for track and field on the island.
