The winter weather continues to wreak havoc on the UK football calendar, leaving many Bermudian players sidelined as matches fall victim to postponements. However, two players did manage to brave the elements and take to the pitch.
Milan Butterfield
Midfielder Milan Butterfield and his Basford United teammates suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the Pitching In Northern Premier League. Despite a valiant effort, they fell to a stoppage-time winner against Mickleover FC at the Don Amott Arena, losing 1-0.
Willie Clemons
Willie Clemons and his Felixstowe & Walton side also tasted defeat, going down 2-0 to Bury Town in their Pitching In Isthmian League clash at the Getaway Cars Stadium.
With the UK gripped by freezing temperatures and challenging conditions, it remains to be seen when the affected Bermudian players will have the opportunity to return to action.
Fans will be hoping for a break in the weather to allow these talented footballers to showcase their skills once again.
