Bermuda's Under-17 Women's National team are set to embark on their quest for a place at the FIFA Under 17 Women's World Cup as they prepare for the CONCACAF Under 17 Women's Qualifiers.
The Bermuda Under 17 Women get the Bermuda International 2025 busy schedule started.
The first round of qualifying, taking place from January 27th to 31st, 2025, will see 22 CONCACAF nations battle it out for a spot in the final round. This year's competition features a new two-round format, adding an extra layer of excitement to the proceedings.
Bermuda have been drawn into Group A, alongside host nation Puerto Rico, Cayman Islands, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The young Bermuda team will be eager to make their mark in the round-robin stage, with matches taking place across four venues.
Following the conclusion of round one on February 1st, the top six group winners and the two best second-placed teams will advance to the final round. There, they will join the four highest-ranked CONCACAF nations – USA, Mexico, Canada, and Haiti – in the fight for a coveted World Cup berth.
This tournament provides a valuable opportunity for Bermuda's young talents to gain experience on the international stage and showcase their abilities against strong opposition. All eyes will be on the team as they strive to progress through the qualifiers and make history for Bermudian women's football.
