Razhir Smith-Jones & Coleridge Fubler
Bermuda international Razhir Smith-Jones was the hero for Binfield FC, netting twice in their 2-2 draw against Leatherhead in a thrilling Pitching In Isthmian League clash at the Iconic Stadium. With fellow countryman Coleridge Fubler between the sticks, Binfield looked to be in control after Smith-Jones's second-half strike gave them the lead, but Leatherhead battled back to snatch a point.
Leatherhead drew first blood, taking a 1-0 lead into the halftime break. However, just before the whistle, Smith-Jones showcased his predatory instincts, pouncing on a rebound to level the score.
Binfield carried that momentum into the second half, with Smith-Jones again finding the back of the net in the 50th minute, finishing off a slick team move to put Binfield in front.
Despite the Bermudian's heroics, Binfield couldn't hold on for the victory, conceding late in the match to share the spoils.
Mazhi Simmons
In the UCL Premier Division North, Mazhi Simmons and his Hucknall Town side cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Melton Town at the RM Stadium.
Simmons, playing full back, helped his team record a clean sheet with a confident performance, providing a solid foundation for Hucknall's dominant display.
With the win, Hucknall continues their strong push for promotion, while Simmons further solidifies his reputation as one of the league's top defenders.
