Taylor Carrick made a strong start to his Georgia Open campaign with a dominant straight sets victory over American Fletcher Cline in the First Round.
Carrick needed just 18 minutes to dispatch Cline 11-6, 11-3, 11-4 at Atlanta Community Squash. Carrick's aggressive play and precise shot-making proved too much for Cline, who struggled to find any rhythm in the match.
Carrick will now face the sixth seed Bransten Ming from the United States of America in the second round. Carrick will be looking to continue his impressive form and progress further in the tournament.
The $9,000 PSA Challenger Tour event is being held at Atlanta Community Squash and features a strong field of international players.
