Bermuda's bowlers made a strong impact in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional Americas Qualifiers, with Kevon Fubler and Derrick Brangman both taking 13 wickets in the tournament.
Fubler and Brangman finished joint fourth in the wicket-taking charts, with Argentina's Hernan Fennell leading the way with 17 scalps. Festus Benn of the Bahamas was close behind with 16.
Belize's Maurice Castillo produced the best bowling figures of the tournament, taking 6 for 16 against Panama. Castillo's teammate Lawrence Bonner also impressed, with his 5 for 10 against Argentina helping him to 15 wickets overall.
Bermuda's bowlers not only took wickets but did so economically. Chare Smith boasted the best economy rate of the tournament, conceding just 3.20 runs per over. Derrick Brangman (3.33) and Kevon Fubler (3.45) also featured in the top five most economical bowlers.
