Caitlyn Bobb made a strong start to her collegiate career at Virginia Tech, competing in the Clemson Opener at the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex.
Bobb took to the track in Heat Two of the Women's 300m and delivered a standout performance, clocking a Personal Best time of 38.34 seconds to win her heat. Her impressive time placed her sixth overall in the event.
"I didn't execute to my potential out of 100%," Bobb told www.islandstats.com. "I would say I executed at 57% which I feel like it is not that bad being in December and seeing where I am knowing that I have a lot more to give, and if I had a Personal Best to open up with, I am very optimistic despite not getting the time I wanted because I really wanted a 37."
Despite not achieving her target time, Bobb remains confident in her abilities and is eager to build on this strong start. Her focus will be on refining her technique and pushing her limits in the upcoming competitions.
