The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) has announced the schedule for the highly anticipated Friendship Trophy and Shield Quarter-Finals, setting the stage for a festive football extravaganza.
In a move that will delight local fans, the BFA confirmed that Bernard Park will host its first matches of the 2024/25 season, as revealed last night on the Islandstats.com Football Show.
The historic venue will kick off its return with a double-header on December 22nd. First up is a Shield Quarter-Final clash between Vasco and the Somerset Trojans, followed by a mouthwatering Friendship Trophy encounter between the North Village Rams and the Paget Lions.
Bernard Park will also host the Semi-Finals of both competitions on Boxing Day, ensuring a festive atmosphere for fans and players alike.
The Semi-Finals will be split between Bernard Park and the PHC Stadium on Boxing Day and December 27th, with the finals taking place on New Year's Day at Somerset Cricket Club.
With a packed schedule and the return of Bernard Park, the Friendship Trophy and Shield promise to deliver a thrilling festive spectacle for Bermudian football fans.
