East and West Share Spoils in All-Star Netball Thrills

The Bermuda School Sports Federation All-Star Netball night at Warwick Academy delivered a feast of action, with the East and West teams sharing the honours in a captivating display of skill and athleticism.

Middle School:

The West emerged triumphant in the Middle School encounter, securing a convincing 21-11 victory over the East. BHS goal shooter Samantha Morgan was the standout performer, leading all scorers with an impressive 12 goals. Fellow BHS player Hailey Oduori added six goals to the score, while Warwick Academy's Kailee Ferreira contributed three goals.

For the East, Dellwood Middle School's Dani Brown led the scoring with seven goals, and Somersfield Academy's Milena Millet chipped in with three. Despite the loss, Dellwood's wing defence Kse Jennings was named MVP for the East, while BHS's Vongai Benza earned MVP honours for the West for her dynamic wing attack play.

MIDDLE SCHOOL EAST

Senior School:

The East bounced back in the Senior School match, claiming a 28-13 victory to level the scores for the night. CedarBridge Academy's Jamir Hatherley was in inspired form, netting an impressive 17 goals. Somersfield Academy's Naomi Crofton added five goals, while CedarBridge's Sydney Santos contributed four goals.

Warwick Academy's Star Brown led the scoring for the West with seven goals, while her teammate Amaya Husband and Berkeley Institute's Sanaa Grant each added three. Santos was named MVP for the East, while Berkeley Institute centre Neveah Thompson-Swan received the MVP award for the West.

The All-Star Netball night provided a platform for Bermuda's emerging netball talent to shine. With both teams showcasing their skills and determination, the event was a resounding success, highlighting the bright future of netball in Bermuda.
