Joshua Joseph has been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team, adding another accolade to his impressive collection.
The graduating senior enjoyed a sensational season for his university side, racking up an impressive 17 goals and 14 assists in just 18 appearances. His performances were instrumental in his team's success, helping them to a 13-2-4 record and an undefeated run in conference play.
Joseph's contribution saw him finish amongst the top performers in NCAA Division III. He ranked third in points per game (2.67), tied for second in assists per game (0.78) and 11th in goals per game (0.94). His exploits on the wing earned him the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Soccer Player of the Year award for the second consecutive year, as well as a place on the NAC East Division All-Conference First Team.
This latest honour caps off a remarkable collegiate career for Joseph, who amassed a staggering 45 goals and 28 assists in 63 games. His consistent excellence played a key role in his team's achievements this season, which included winning the NAC Championship and reaching the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Despite their eventual defeat to nationally ranked Buffalo State University in the NCAA tournament, Joseph's individual brilliance and the team's overall success will be remembered as a high point in the program's history.
