Bermuda's cricketers continued their impressive form in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional Americas Qualifier, demolishing Panama by 9 wickets at the St Albans Club in Argentina.
Panama, opting to bat first after winning the toss, struggled to build momentum against a disciplined Bermuda bowling attack. They were restricted to a meagre 60/7 in their 20 overs. Captain Anilkumar Natubhai Ahir top-scored with 27, but no other batsman offered significant resistance. Kevon Fubler, continuing his impressive form, struck with the very first ball of his spell and finished with figures of 2 for 15 from his 4 overs.
Bermuda made light work of the chase, racing to victory in just 4.4 overs. Despite losing opener Dominic Sabir early on, captain Terryn Fray and Tre Manders unleashed a devastating display of power hitting. Fray smashed 35 runs off just 15 balls, including 5 fours and a six, while Manders contributed a brisk 18 off 12 deliveries with 3 boundaries.
