In a spirited showdown to close out the 2024 calendar year, Rhys Insley and his Canisius University Men's Swimming & Diving team faced off against their Little Three rivals, St. Bonaventure, in Buffalo, N.Y. The Golden Griffins put forth a valiant effort, though they ultimately fell to St. Bonaventure with a final score of 168-50.
Insley showcased his talents throughout the meet. In the Men’s 50 Yard Freestyle, he finished 8th, clocking a competitive time of 22.75 seconds. His determination was evident again during the Men’s 200 Yard Breaststroke, where he finished in 11th place with a time of 2:18.55.
Insley also contributed to the team’s relay efforts, swimming the anchor leg for the Canisius Men’s 200 Yard Freestyle Relay C team, which finished 6th with a time of 1:33.31.
